The Weasel Man.

A rather short one again I fear, this is possably due to the fact we watched an eipsode of Game of Thrones and had lasagne first which was yummy ^_^


After the trainers healed up their pokemon they disscused plans on getting a fishing rod of some sort, seeing as they would be crossing two rivers why not try for some water pokemon, but after looking at prices of various kinds of rod (not to mention the celebration mark up) they decied to try their luck with improvised rods once they get there, and so all four trainers from Team Dratini set out again from Inevita town.
On the way they find some berries to use as bait while Desmond informs them he has bought some curry paste for his, the rest of the group look at him qizzicaly and Zephiera states she will be fishing up river from him.
As they travel onwards towards the pokemon center at the powerplant they keep an eye out for items and pokemon though they soon realise that because soo many trainers have gone this way that there is likely to be nothing on the bushes and nothing dropped as well. They spot several groups of pokemon along the way the first being a group of 6 spearow which the Trainers decied to not attack, as they continue they eventually they see a lone Zigzagzoon zigzaging back an fouth across the path, Klint instantly takes a likeing to it as the team pokedex the pokemon

Black White It walks in zigzag fashion. It is good at finding items in the grass and even in the ground.

After a quick battle the pokemon is caught and suddenly a small flock of Starly apper! Zephira's Charmander recognise this flock as the ones that go away from the battle earlyer that morning and starts growling at them. The starly also recognise the Charmander so swoop doen to begin battle, this time Arya's Espeon, Kilnt's Aron and Desmond's Starly also join the fight, Charmander puts up a good fight but with all three Starly on him dosent survie long but manages to Level up none the less gaining the move ember and so Arya, Klint and Zephira all manage to catch themselves a Starly. 

Aftergiveing a potion to Charmander the Trainers Travel a while longer a large group pings up on Kilnt's Pokemon scanner so the trainers move towards that befor the river. As the walk Zephira decieds it might be best if they aproce quietly and stealthily, but as soon as she see's the group of pokemon on Klints scanner she goes slightly pale and tells the group some info befor the pokedex pings back..

Black White It whittles its constantly growing fangs by gnawing on hard things. It can chew apart cinder walls.

"A Ratticate is a level 20 pokemon at leaste! if it was on its own or had fewer Rattata's with it I might take it on but this many? I dont think so!" said Zephira and quietly runs away with the rest of the trainers decieding to follow her, and so they reach the river takeing branches of some bare trees and tieing string and Aspear berry's to the ends to see what they can fish up....

First to hook something is Zephira with a Magikarp which she excitedly catches without battleing it, 

Black White A Magikarp living for many years can leap a mountain using Splash. The move remains useless, though.

Desmond hooks one as well only to beat it up and throw it back. While Kilnt and Arya are sucsessfully Catching Magikarp as well Zephira hears something further up river, After watching for a short time she notices that is a pair of Buizel speeding down the river and lets the other trainers know they are there and something about them befor getting hit with Super sonic as they speed past

Black White It spins its two tails like a screw to propel itself through water. The tails also slice clinging seaweed.

Just as they are passing, Desmond sends out his Starly to battle the Buizel's with each of the other trainers sending out a pokemon as well resulting in Desmond and Klit Captureing one each.

And so Kilnt becomes The Waesel Man.

New Region, New Game

I've made a blog specifically for the new game ^_^


So after a bit of discussion, and the GM not being happy, we decided to change to his new region Aerouanta. Pokemon were levelled down and trainers were levelled up, and new characters were made as well (I went for something new, it's easier for someone with a shit load of poke-knowledge to play a Researcher than an Ace Trainer) and the new game was started.


It's New Years Eve and over 50 new trainers of age 16 plus have been given their first pokemon for the Aerouanta challenge! Not only are there 17 gym leaders (one for each type, but only 8 are needed to qualify for the league) but also 2 challenges a fortnight for the trainers to take part in and gain points, anything from Easter egg hunts to Ice skating races.
The trainers need to be part of a team of 4 or 5 to gain the most points in the challenges, though Gym battles will be compleated by each trainer. Once 8 badges have been gained, each trainer will be given one Dratini so they can gain access to the flying island Draco Insularis. The more challenges and badges a trainer has, the more points they will gain at the Tourney Aerouanta.

Our trainers start their journey in Inevita town, where they each get to choose one Pokemon from among all the types apart from Ghost and Dragon. This year Charmander is one of the most popular, with Skorupi being the least. The trainer Klint Blunderbuss chose Aron the Steel Type, Five Finger Desmond picked a Ralts (we highly doubt this is the name his mother gave him), Zepheria Baylie picked a Charmander and Arya (whose last name is unknown at this time) came with her Espeon.
Desmond and Arya are 2 of the more interesting Trainers this year, coming all the way from the Kanto Region. Desmond is working towards becoming a Breeder and Move Tutor, little is known about Arya who is remaining mysterious. Zepheria comes from right here in Inevita town and is already pursuing a career in Pokemon watching and Klint is from Ferrous town, so it's no wonder he picked the Steel type Pokemon. He's working hard towards engineer and already has the Mech arm that will help him in many trials to come.
Tonight all the trainers will celebrate the New year with their new friends and companions, hopefully not getting too out of hand for tomorrow's send off, but we shall see!


After a night of celebrations it's time for all the new trainers to receive their pokedex (Black for Boys and White for Girls) and begin the journey. Each of the 50 have managed to turn up on time this year with famielys, friends and the whole of Inevita lining the street as the trainers get a Pokedex and Challenge list with dates, locations and a description of each event.
Once everyone left there were several choices before each trainer and group. Many picked the option of fighting friends and rivals to gain experience and see more pokemon for the dex. Others choosing to find some wild pokemon to start out the day.
Our quartet of trainers Arya, Desmond, Klint and Zepheria all chose to fight wilds and discuss the route they will take around Aerouanta. After a democratic vote and discussion it's decided they will travel to the Desert, challenging gyms along the way. Unfortunately I don't think they know that the Gyms will be closed for the first month, where Zepheria hopes to catch herself a Trapinch, then back towards Canalis to take the boat over to the Forest and the Winter Deerling hunt later this month.

While walking, they discover a Minccino just waking from a nap. Desmond decides it's the pokemon for him and takes the first shot at it.

Black They greet one another by rubbing each other with their tails, which are always kept well groomed and clean. White These Pokémon prefer a tidy habitat. They are always sweeping and dusting, using their tails as brooms.

Unfortunately for Desmond, the Minccino seems rather upset at having been woken up and beat the living daylights out of his poor Ralts before she can even attack. Next up is Klint who definately knows his type advantages with Aron, and deftly catches the Minccino. With great team spirit he gives the pokemon over to Desmond as they get back to the Pokemon Center for a bit of healing for the poor Ralts.
Later in the day the group come across some Starly one of which Desmond manages to catch. Some Rattata were also caught by everyone but Zepheria, though Desmond traded his two (Klint failed to catch one so Desmonde caught it on the rebound) for a Lillipup with the trainer Gary, which was most definately a bad plan...
Zepheria's Charmander grew stronger, as did Aron.
The group returned back to the Pokemon Center again for some more healing and discussion over the rather yappy Lillipup.
