Episode 2: Whats in a name?

Well heres another update! Its relitively short this time as well I want to get something out fairly regularly and in shorter perhaps more interesting bursts. That dose of course meen we will be spending longer in each session as i think most of this happened in either the end of the first or the start of the second and there have so far been 4, handily the 4th was recored but im not sure what the quality of that is like and if it's not just full of Digression Hammers and Tangent Spanners* but we shall see..

Anyway on with the show! :P

*I may explain these at another point i may not depends if anyone is interested

It takes hardly any time at all for the Nurse to register Dan into the league and when she finishes she asks the group an important question "so what do you want to call your team then?"

"Err what do you mean" asks Major

"Well your team needs to have a name, other teams have called them selves things like Team Dratini, Team Arcanine, Team Arbok and Team Pikachu, just generally named themselves after powerful Pokemon or Pokemon they feel really represent their teams" She says with a simile

The group go into a discussion amongst them selves with Emily exclaiming "Team Flygon" instantly and loudly "Flygon is awesome and cool and has goggles and is a Dragon so its pretty powerful"

"How about Team Palkia?" suggests Major

"Yeah thats pretty cool" says Dan "after all it did bring us here"

"I think we should be team other world after all we aren't from here, we are from another  world" Suggests Dave 

"Nah thats crap… everyone else has their teams named after a Pokemon so I think we should as well" Emily says disappointedly 

"But thats boring as well its just following everyone else" 

"But Team other world is naff it doesn't mean anything! no one but us and Professor Pine know we aren't from here, even Team Palkia is better than team other world" She argues. The group argue for a while longer with eventually a vote being taken which Dave wins.

"Its such a stupid name…. could have been team Flygon or Palkia….. I'm not even going to remember that" Emily quietly says with a sulk.

"Ok" Says the Nurse "Thats Team other world" She registers the name looking slightly confused "All done! your ready to take on the league"

"Umm is there any chance of us getting some gear?" Asks Brian "We don't currently have anything at all" 

"Of course!" She smiles "Every trainer gets a back pack with everything they need to compete in the league, a tent, sleeping bag, rations, frying pans…"She continues with the list but suddenly Emily, Dan and Major start laughing

"You could use a frying pan as a Drying pan!" Emily squeaks

"Or I could hit you with it and it could be a crying pan!" Laughs Dan 

Or use it as a scrying pan!" add Major with a big grin on his face

"What are you three talking about?" asks Brian 

"Oh in an episode of the anime Ash, Brock and Misty are running through a forest in the rain" explains Dan " An Brock pulls out his Frying pan and says 'I can use my trusty frying pan, as a drying pan!' It was hilarious!"

The others laugh agreeing that its pretty funny, as the nurse continues with her explanation of the kit trying not to look confused "And a Makeshift Rod, enough feed bowls for 6 Pokemon, some cutlery, tea bags, kettle and well everything you would expect"

"Brilliant, I suppose we'd better be getting on then?" He suggests brightly "Er do we have a map?" 

"Theres one in your pack" the Nurse replies "Along with the program of events for the year"

"Coool! so where should go first?" Emily asks

"Well we can look at the events and see what we want and then we can see about what Pokemon are likely to be where and go from there" Major says to the group. They study the events list for  while and eventually ask the Nurse what the date is right now "Its the 7th of February today" she says with a bright smile

"Ok so the events that we have going on next are the Open Sea hunt in Zeno City and Floretta Photography in Floretta town" Says Brian "Lets have a look at the map?"

Emily walks over to a table and spreads the map out for all to see "We are currently here" She points to Inevita Town "With the two events happening here and here" Pointing to Zeno city at the top right of the map and Floretta at the top left, both of which are either on the other side of a large bay or through a desert, jungle, ash plain and then volcano

"Its going to be hard if we go that way" Emily indicates the desert, Jungle and volcano "But there will probably be Trapinch in that desert which is a Pokemon I really really really want!" She says excitedly "I think we should head there as soon as we can after all we can always double back on ourselves and go to er…" She reads the Map "Cannallis and get a boat to the other side so we can at the very least get to" she checks the map again "Shadrakia City, where they are holding a dragon display on the 26th" She grins

"Well I want a Lotad" says Major "It's likely to be around rivers and swamps and that looks like a swamp to me" He points to the area around Cannallis "So I want to go that way"

"But there are rivers on the way to the Desert and a big lake" Says Emily 

"I want a Squirtle" Says Dan Excitedly "Thats gonna be rivers or sea?"

"I think Squirtle is just fresh warted says Brian

"I Want a Charmander" says Dave "where are they likely to be?"

"Err my guess would be a volcano" says Major

"It will be hard going through all of that.." says Emily "I think going to the desert and round will be easier and we will get less lost"

"But thats such a waste of travel! doubling back is pointless" says Dave "And I bet there will be cool things in a jungle"

"But it will be hard! non of us are exactly jungle explorers" Emily says with slight worry in her voice "The path of least resistance will be better for us over all and we aren't in a massive rush are we?" The group spend more time discussing the where-fors and what-nots of the path to take eventually deciding to go the hard way through desert, jungle, ash plains and volcano… Its going to be hard going for our group….

As always if anyone of the players wants me to change anything feel free to let me know and we will see what can be done, I hope you enjoyed reading my ramblings about an imaginary world in an imaginary game held mostly in 5 peoples heads.

Well gosh... iv been quiet here for a Very long time... Alot of that has been to do with arguments among friends, Not playing pokemon, moving and well just forgetfulness. I havn't played P:TA with Arlia, Klint and Desmond in a very long time mainly Due to arguments with Klint that i wont go into but also due to the fact that Myself and the DM have moved away from Devon! we now live in Somerset where we play RPG's with a new group of people Including P:TA so far there have been 2 sessions worth of game with another coming on wednesday, we have been playing in the DM's region of Areouanta with the rules we perviously used and in the same time as where Team Dratini left off..

Its likely that i will update here periodically...
Or possibly not who knows.

Palkia's Cry echos across the bay as our new adventurers find them selves on top of a cliff overlooking the sea, "what was that and were the hell are we?" asks Dave

"Umm that was was Palkia from Pokemon..." says Emily, "but they don't exist!" 

As the group look around they see a large pink and white creature fly out to sea "its definitely a Palkia which means we must be in the Pokemon world" says Major 

"it must have used spacial rend to have brought us here" comments Brian.
The 4 continue to argue amongst themselves until they spot a man walking very fast, if not running, up the hill they stand on, the 4 watch him until he introduces himself as Professor Pine, The group introduce themselves as Emily, a short 20something with dark mousey hair and blue eyes dressed in a steampunk style, Brian, also short but taller than Emily who looks a lot like Nikola Tessla, Dave, short dark hair early 20's dressed in a T-shirt and jeans, Major The Tallest of the group also early 20's with long dark hair, slightly broken glasses and dressed in a Legend of Zelda T-shirt and jeans
"So was that Palkia?" The Professor asks

"We think so, after all we did just see it" 

"Hey this guy looks just like Hojo from final fantasy!" Dave says somewhat excitedly
"Well he isn't he's professor Pine! he just told us..." comments Emily slightly distractedly "why are we even here Professor?"

"Yeah Hojo?" asks Dave, Professor Pine looks at Dave "I don't know any Hojo's... but you 4 should probably come back to my lab, after all we cant have you running around with out a Pokemon, its not safe"
"Wait" says Major"we are getting Pokemon!? This is like the start of the games!" The group excitedly start to chatter amongst themselves about how awesome it is that this is real, wondering what kind of Pokemon they will get and how they will get home.... Professor Pine leads them towards his Lab on the side of the hill confused they they aren't from this world as they tell him about Pokemon from where they are from that its just a game.....

"Well you all are going to have to pick from some of the Pokemon iv been testing as I don't have any standard starting Pokemon" Professor Pine hands the group a list of Pokemon with some all ready crossed out which the group doesn't question.
"Ooo! I want the Snowrunt!!!!" Exclaims Emily with a lot of excitement
"I dunno that one" says Brian as he points to one at random ending up with a Grimer
"I'll have the Solosis'" Says Major confidently
"I want a foxy one! yeah... err what do Zoura and Yanma look like"? Dave asks
Professor Pine lets both out of their Pokeballs for dave to see "OMG that ones a Dragonfly! now i don't know which one to chose..."
"You could flip a coin?" suggests Brian
"Thats not a bad idea" says Dave as he rummages in his pocket... "Huh... I don't have any money..."
The others rummage in their pockets as well finding they also have nothing, though one of them has a d4  "Ok 1-2 the Zoura 3-4 the Yanma ok?" says Brian, Dave nods and Brian rolls.
The dice bounces a few times and eventually lands on 2 "Yeah the Foxy one, nice!" He lets it out of the Pokeball and it immediately turns into Dave and giggles "What the !?"
"So every one has made their choice? excellent now we can get on with the Pokedex registration, ladies first?" says the Professor
" Ok! this is exciting" says Emily as the others chatter to each other about the Pokemon they have,
"first the Photo identification" Click "and now the finger print" He pushes Emily's finger onto the Pokedex "this will be your identification here so don't lose it" He warns, "Right who's next?" Brian steps up for the process pulling a funny face for his photo, then Major being serious about it and finally all thats left is Dave "Next?" asks the Professor, unfortunately dave ignores him as he is talking with the others so the Professor just takes a photo as Dave is talking leaving him with an awful identification photo and gets his finger pressed against the Pokedex.
"So now you all have a pokedex with you you can enter the League if you wish but i assume you will be tracking down Palkia?"
"Wait we can join in the league!? Awesome! but i do want to get home" says Major, his conflicted feelings showing
"We could join in while we find Palkia?" asks Brian
"Well we probably should stay at least a little while and get stronger because who knows what will happen if we find Palkia now... we could end up anywhere..."
"But we need to get home as soon as we can" Dave counters "we don't belong here and i have no idea about any of this"
"Well its lucky you have us then!" Emily winks "between us 3 i'm sure we will know enough, though Professor will you give u some extra Pokeballs?"
"i'm sorry but i don't have any to spare but i can give you some money to help get you set up" says Professor Pine, he hands them 1,000 pokedollars* each "That wont buy you a lot but it should get you some balls and potions at least"

*1,000 Pokedollars is equal to about £10

After they say their goodbyes and thank you's to Professor Pine the group get on the road, They battle some wild Pokemon and catch a Jigglepuff for Dave and a Surskit each for Major and Brian once the group reached Inevita town and their first visit to the Pokemon centre. 

"Whoa" Says Dan as he looks around, seeing his friends coming out of a building on the side of the hill heading towards a town, so he heads towards the building "wait!'" he calls but they don't hear him 

"oh another one, are they your friends?" asks the professor

"Yes! where are they going and where am i? "

"From what I can gather you are in the Pokemon world when you shouldn't be I'm Professor Pine, your friends all have Pokemon and a pokedex so i think it would be best if you have one as well" The Professor hands Dan the list the others had previously seen and starts registering Dan into his Pokedex as Dan makes his choice.
"I'll take the Rogenrolla!"
"Ok Here you go and seeing as the others had it here's 1,000 Pokedollars.. its not much but it should get you a little something in inevita town, now hurry on!"
Dan makes his way quickly down the hill towards inevita town and his friends, noticing all the Pokemon calls in the distance and feeling so excited he could burst!

As Dan reaches Inevita town the rest of the group are leaving the Pokemon centre
"What are you doing here!?" Both Dan and Dave say at the same time both shocked that it is the other they are seeing in the Pokemon world and then they High Five
"Soooo Palkia?" asks Emily
"Yeah i think so" says Dan "we really are in the Pokemon world then?"
"Yeah! its awesome!!"
"Yeah it is!" says Dan as they both enthuse and squeal slightly
"We have to find Palkia so we can get home" Brian pipes up
"We all got registered for the Pokemon league as well" says Major
"Yeah we did!! go in the Pokemon centre and you can get registered as well!" says Emily with excitement as she pushes Dan towards the building.
"I forgot we can scan the Pokemon we see cant we?" asks Major "i'm gonna scan the Chansey*"
"Thats a good idea" says Brian "do you mind if we do?" he asks the nurse behind the desk
"Not at all go ahead" she replies with a smile "Are you here to get registered as well?"

*Which might actually have been Audino I cant remember atm


And thats it for now, its been a long blog entry and alot of this wont be entirely accurate so its a mix of what I remember and what I thought sounded good/ok, if the chaps involved want me to change anything they can let me know.. I wish I had some sort of recording device so I could do this better but alas...

Desmond the Mad.

Wow its been a while since i last updated this fortunatly not alot has happend as we have recently started playing a bit of starwars RPG... if it was D20 i could prolly have alot more fun with it seeing as my char really isnt something iv had alot of choice in, yeah i got to pic out ofthe book what i wanted to be but it really was a case of copy this out the book and assign your dice as you like, so there was some custome stuff going on but not as much as id like. Happily im not keeping a blogg of the goings on from that game, soooo mcuh stuff i just dont get but im having some fun non the less ^_^ 

Anywho lets get back to Pokemon Tabletop Adventures!

The team sleep while Zapheria and Charmander keep the second watch, Arya took the first where not alot actually happened, At aorund 2am Zapheria notices some movement in the grass not far from the camp so she calles Charmander over to get a better look while she gives Desmond a kick to wake him up, as she scans the pokemon Desmond goes to wake Klint and Arya and brings out his Purrloin. The Pokedax pings back with the info and lets everyone know that its a Ekans

Black White It sneaks through grass without making a sound and strikes unsuspecting prey from behind.

The team battle the wild Ekans so that Arya can eventually capture it, Zapheria informs Desmond that its not his watch and goes to sleep leaveing charmander out for warmth and light. Desmond feeds his Purrloin some curray and after only 10 minuets of watch wakes Kilnt up telling him its his turen then falls back to sleep which annoys Purrloin who wants to play and eat more curry. While Klint keeps watch he ckecks his Radoar out just incase more pokemon show up, fortunatly nothing dose.

The next day the Group carry on through the marsh towards canarlis disscussing Desmonds sexuality along the way due to his want of skipping which causes much merriment amount Klint, Arya and Zapheria, As hey walk with Klint checking the radar periodicaly they nocise a chainlink fence keeping people from going deep into the marsh the team wonder about it when one of them rembers that one of the events was a marsh hunt so reason that perhaps it would be a good plan no to go over the fence, Quickl Klint notices 3 blips on his radar further up the path so the team quickly go to see what it might be..

As they reach a bridge over a small stream they find themselves onto of the blipsand begin to look around for them they go a small way up steam to a pond where 3 Barboach are playing, the team each scan the pokemon while sending out Klints Mareep, Zapherias Shinx, Desmonds slightly crazy looking Zigzagoon and Aryas Espeon.

Black White Its slimy body is hard to grasp. In one region, it is said to have been born from hardened mud.

As the Pokedex Pings back Zapheria takes a look and sees that Barboach are water ground so recalls her Shinx and sends Foongus instead while the others attack. Zigzagoon attacks first with a mighty Headbut causeing massive damage as the team battle they all suddenly nocie that one of the Barboach is a different colour from all the rest while Kilnt and Desmond argue for a while over who gets it Arya catches one while Foongus slowly moves throught the mud to attack one of the barboacheventually Klint maages to catch the shiny Barboach while Desmond catches the other.

While Klint, Arya and Zapheria disscuss the Shiny pokemon, Zapheria infors Klint that they are rather rare and quit decent when trained no one ontices that Desmond has wandered away to the fence where he finds a tympole. Desmond feeds this Tympole with some of his mothers famouse curry and askes the Pokemon if it would like to travelle with him, The tympol answeres by useing a small watergun to the face, amused by this Desmond sends his crazy Zigzagoon to battle the Tympole eventually weakening it enough to be catpured sucessfully 

Black They warn others of danger by vibrating their cheeks to create a high-pitched sound. White By vibrating its cheeks, it emits sound waves imperceptible to humans. It uses the rhythm of these sounds to talk.

At this point a loude cry from alot of nearby pokemon goes up! the team find Desmond by the fence and ask him what he's been doing and when he tells them he caught a tympole then the noise started the Others soon start to worry.... Klint checks his radar and sure enough theres a large number of pokemon heading thier way! and so the Group Runs as fast as they can away from the fence and the marsh.

It's at this point that we stopped that session of gameplay... we managed abotut an hours worth out of game.... and seeing as we are running the game as an actuall year thing well we need to do better after all we are only on January 3rd in game! Id also like to share with you the fact that our DM/GM has changed the way we play this game, makeing some classes skills and well generally makeing the game feel better to him, so far its been going well ^_^

Eventually the Team get out of earshoot at leaste of the most likely angery Tympole so slow down to a walk only to find the radar indicateing 6 pokemon up ahead. As soon as the pokemon are spotted the group scan and send out various pokemon, Zapheria sends Charmander to fight and Magikarp to watch, Desmon sends Zigzagoon, Klint sends Aron to soak up some damage and harden as much as he can while Arya get her Espeon to helping hand Zigzagoon and Charmander when it can.The pokedex pings back with its info of...

Black White A comparison revealed that Bidoof's front teeth grow at the same rate as Rattata's.

 As the fight with the Bidoof goes on Charmander burns one of them, Arya and Desmond Catch one each while one of them starts curling up into a ball and starts rolling around, the team wonder what its doing when Zapheria suddenly recognises the move! Its rollout! 

She informs the others that the move will keep growing in strangth the more its used and advises them to concentrate on that.. The burned Bidoof trys to make a run for it but faints from hits burns while charmander embers as much as he can and the team manage to swiftly deal with all 6 bidoof.

Desmond sends his rattata out to propperly kill the poor Bidoof and roll in the  entrils while Desmond makes more curry from Bidoof meat with the help of Charmanders flame so everyone stopps for a rather grusome lunch and send out the rest of their pokemon for a bit of play time, Zapheria finds her Shinx quite likes Curried Bidoof while she also gives Magikarp and Shinx a grooming session, Klint spends a good hour fixing the teams broken poke balls while everyone plays with their Pokemon

At about 3:15Pm Travvle is resumed with Building's appareing on not to far from the Group, as they travle onwards they come across garbage cans with something moving inside them... ARya and Zapheria take a closer look and find a pair of Zigzagoon feasting inside, the Zigzagoon begin to growl at them so Both girls send out their Starlie's in the hope of gaining hem some experianceonly to have them both faint! Arya trys her Rattat only to have it faint as well while Zapheira goes with her tryed and tested Charmander, also sending out Magikarp to watch and hopefully gain some experiance from watching Charmander who starts with a smokescreen and then an ember only to have Desmond send his Rattat throught the smoke to kill the Zigzagoon on the other side, Arya, after weakening the second Zigzagoon manages to capture it but only after Desmond sends his Purrloin to use assist after it had allready fainted...

As The team move on to the Pokemon center Zapheria tells Desmond that he is a little git for kiling that Zigzagoon, as she would have perfered to leave it fainted rather than Kill the poor thing and finds his recent enjoyment in all this killing to be rather disturbeing..

Once they reach the pokemon center they discover that a couple of other teams have also made it this far and Desmond goes into disscussions about breeding some of his pokemon to some of thiers and also finding out if they have something interesting to trade, alas Team Medicham have nothing the group havent allread caught but Desmond manages to make a breed with his Ralts and theirs for a price while he also plans to breed his Purrloin and Aryas Espeon in the vain hope of getting an Eevee.

Shinx and sheep rustling

Last saturday we started playing again and talking about playing another game everyother week so that our GM/DM Dan could get some actual play time in... So the idea of Travller was introduced... Personally im not into space games at all, scifi is fine and dandy at certian points like Doctor Who, Red Dwarf and to some extent Star Trek TNG but over all I'm fantasy girl, I love Dragons and Elves and Centaurs. None the less we had a look at the books starting with races which totally put us off. In the end we comparmised with Star wars which im not really into either but at leaste i like Twi'leks.


After staying the night at the Powerplant Pokemon center the group have yet another chat over which way they should head, either towards Canarlis and the various activitys going on in that direction or towards the desert where there may be wild Onix and Trapinch's that Klint and Zephiera want, tho they both realise that direction is going to be harder on both Human and Pokemon alike. Eventually the decission is made to go to the City of Canarlis, so they all head out with the weather looking very cloudy and but not yet raining...

After travleing for 2hours with the rain looming over head but still not breaking the scanner picks up 2 blips so they head slightly off the path in that dirction, after a short walk the trainers find 2 Shinx playing with each other. After a quick talk Zephiera and Desmond decied they want the Shinx and step out to challenge them asking Arya to have her Espeon and Plusle out to use Helping hand to make capture slightly easyer.

Black White The extension and contraction of its muscles generates electricity. It glows when in trouble.

Desmond instantly sends out Zigzagoon while Zaperia pauses eventually picking Charmander,
while the Battle starts Zapheira uses her skills as a reasearcher to guess the nature of the pokemon (unfotunatly the first guess is wrong).
As the battle continues Desmond rushes in with the Zigzagoon to get some phsyical attacks in right from the start while charmander only moves closser keeping a wary eye on the foe which use charge befor they attack with spark causeing Zigzagoon to take massive damage and faint, Charmander keeps his distance useing ember at his maxium range to avoid being hit while Espeon deals out helping hand every other turn. Desmond calls upon his Rattata to finesh the Shinx his Zigzagoon was fighting while Charmader keeps to the tactic of distance is better and both Zaphiera and Desmond manage to make a capture of a Shinx each.

Soon after their battle the trainers use poitions on the pomemon that fought when it begins to rain heavily so Zapheira recalls Charmander befor  to much damage can be done to him and the group carries on with Desmond finding a pokeball in the road which he sends Zigzagoon to pick up, and then Demond hears something howling off in plains and dashes off to investigate, the rest of the party sigh with Zapheria pointing out that they are walking in very much an oposite direction to the way they should be going and if they keep doing this they wont get to canarlis befor dark and might infact get stuck in the marsh between here and there.
At this news the other group members begin to worry and ask why she didnt tell them of this marsh befor hand being the 'Local' of the group. Zapheria points out that Klint is also local and that they should have looked at the map they were given. Once the rest of the group find Desmond they see a Luxio which everyone scans, Zapheria suggests retreet seing as its definatly growling at them but Klint decieds he can take it and battles.

Black White Strong electricity courses through the tips of its sharp claws. A light scratch causes fainting in foes.

Klint Sends in his Starter, Aron who has so far proven his worth at taking hits and shrugging them off with relative ease with this battle being no different, Arya has Plusle and Minun out for Helping hands while Desmond has his Zizagoon there for support. Aron takes hits and gives out Super effective Mud slaps causeing the Luxio to faint giving Klint the change to capture this electric pokemon that will be so usefull should they come across water or flying pokemon.
Klint throws his ball and the catch fails wakeing the Luxio so it can run off, Klint tracks it with his sanner but Luxio moves far to fast for him so goes out of range, none the less he follows the trail with a flash near a hill giveing him something to head towards.

As the group find the cave they hear a roar of something sounding like a Shinx or Luxio only deeper and louder... Zapheria suggest quiet and retreet, letting the others know that what ever is in that cave will be to much for their little team if its what she thinks it might be, unfortuantly Desmond decieds now is the time to make as much nouise as possable causeing the radar to bleep uncontrollably and a massive flock of Zubat to fly from the cave straight at them!

Black White It checks its surroundings and location using reflections of the ultrasonic waves from its mouth.

Natuarlly they all manage to get a scan of a Zubat into their Pokedex befor they run off back to the road.
They find the road again at around midday and eat some lunch on the move due to the heavey rain which slowly begins to lessen as they walk and after a couple of hours stops complately.

As they continue to walk the all hear bleating in the distance that Zapheira recognises as Mareep, as the group are unsure if they are wild or not they scann the pokemon while looking for a human shepard or something similar..

Black White Its fluffy coat swells to double when static electricity builds up. Touching it can be shocking.

Not a singal person can be seen for miles around so after a short pause Desmond, Kilnt and Zaphiera decied they couldn't battle theses pokemon because of the sheer amount of them so throw one pokeball in the vain hope they might catch something, Unlucky (or is it Luckily?) for Zapheria her catch fails while Desmond and Klint Decied they like the look of the others catch and so trade them befor the balls zip off to Pokemon Storage while Arya informs them that they have succsessfully commited 2 Felonies, Sheep rustling and the Handling of stolen goods!
The boys worry only a little over this but make sure to put some distance between the possably not wild Marrep and themselves.

After another hour's walk the group ask Zaphiera weather or not they will be able to cross the marsh befor it gets dark, she informs them that they will not so they find somewhere to camp while Desmond worries about pokemon sucking him off during the night..... He is a very odd boy.

2011's last game.

Last Saturday was the last gaming session of the year, sad I know, good thing we will still be playing next year. There's talk of playing D&D again soon which I'm looking forward to and also not because although D&D (2nd edition) was the first Table top RPG I'd ever played and have been playing it since I was 16 (I'm 25 now) and altho in between those times I've changed DM, and groups and even systems the game has been starting lose luster a tiny bit.. dont get me wrong I love the game but this pokemon game has been soo enjoyable I dont think I want to switch back.... 

Anyway on with the story!

As the Party travel onwards though the evening towards the Pokemon Center not 2 hours away they come across a strange looking mushroom while Klints Radar picks up a pokemon close by but nothing but the mushroom can be seen. Zephira tells everyone that there are pokemon that look like mushrooms and so scans it with her Pokedex and sure enough it is a Foongus.

	Black	It lures people in with its Poké Ball pattern, then releases poison spores. Why it resembles a Poké Ball is unknown.

White

For some reason, this Pokémon resembles a Poké Ball. They release poison spores to repel those who try to catch them.

The team disscuss weather or not any of them want a Foongus till Zephira decide's that a grass type will be handy for catching a Trapinch once they reach the desert, so battles it with her Charmander while Magikarp looks on. The other trainers with Magikarp also let their's watch and scan the Foongus so they can get the Pokedex entry, while Zephira deftly captures the little shroom.

As the team continue to walk through the dark towards the Pokemon Center, healing and rest Klint's radar picks up three fast moving pokemon from behind them, Zephira calls Charmander out to light the way and help them to see the shapes in the dark while Arya brings Espeon, Klint brings out Aron and Desmond his Lillipup which begins yapping instantly. As the blips on Klints radar get closer and closer all the pokemon begin to growl senseing the prescense in the dark, one of the party ask if Klints radar can pick up on how big the pokemon might be hoping that it might give away something as to the identity of the pokemon but alas Klint informs them that its just a blip and that's it...

As the blips get nearer Charmanders light illuimnates the area, three Rattata rush out of the dark and begin attacking Espeon, Lillipup, Aron and Charmander, while attacking and moving around the light flickers and moves plunging some of the Trainers into darkness dueing the battle making the trainers have to guess the location of the Rattata... Sudenly all three Rattata dash out of the darkness towards the trainers, but with Charmander, Lillipup, Aron and Espeon exspecting and attack they easily get their attacks in, and kill one of them,  befor the last two Ratatta try to steal things from the trainers and run off. As the other trainers return their pokemon Zephiera notices the dead Rattata and feels bad for him but none the less carries on her journey.

Just befor they reach the Pokemon Center Desmond notices, fights and captures a Purrloin and being his 7th pokemon transports off to Pokemon Storage.

Black	They steal from people for fun, but their victims can't help but forgive them. Their deceptively cute act is perfect.

White

Its cute act is a ruse. When victims let down their guard, they find their items taken. It attacks with sharp claws.

While at the Pokemon Center the Team heals their Pokemon after the Rattata and other battles they had along the way while Desmond switches his yappy Lillipup for his new Purrloin. After a short while Klint's radar picks up 2 blips outside and so Klint, Arya, Desmond and Zepheria venture outside to see what they might be, leaveing their bags inside as the intend to stay at the Pokemon Center that night due to the rain. After some searching Arya finds the blips and scans them with her Pokedex finding them to be a Plulse and a Minun,

	Black White	It cheers on friends with pom-poms made of sparks. It drains power from telephone poles.

	Black White	It cheers on its friends. If its friends are losing, its body lets off more and more sparks.

Quietly she offers them both a berry each and talks them into having a battle with her so she might capture them, Picking Aron and Klint to help her battle them.

With Plusle and Minun useing Helping Hand the battle turn out to be a dificult one but with Klint as her partner useing Aron the battle ends up with Arya catching both Plusle and Minun adding them to her team.

And that's the end of the game of 2011, I hope the games of this year will end up being as fun as all the games of 2011 have been.
